Privacy

The short version: this is a small independent site. I collect very little, I don't sell anything about you, and if you want your data gone, one email does it.

What gets collected

If you join the community waitlist, you're giving me your email address. Alongside it, the signup records some context about how you arrived: the page you landed on, the page you signed up from, the link tags that brought you here (like utm_source), your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address (the hash can't be reversed into the actual address). That context exists so I can tell which posts and pages actually bring people in.

If you just browse, the site uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to count visits — pages viewed, rough location (city-level), device and browser type. This is standard, anonymous-ish traffic measurement; I see charts, not people. The hosting provider (Vercel) also keeps ordinary server logs.

What happens with it

  • Waitlist emails go into a private database and are used for exactly one thing: the community updates you asked for. When someone signs up, I also get a notification email so I can feel briefly famous.
  • Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. There are no ads.
  • Data lives with the services that run this site: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (analytics), and Resend (transactional email).

What doesn't happen

No selling data. No third-party ad trackers. No newsletters you didn't ask for. No dark patterns — unsubscribing or getting deleted will never require a phone call.

Want out?

Email chat (at) agreatinsight (dot) com and tell me to delete your data, and I will — promptly and completely. If you just want fewer emails, same address, easier request.

Cookies

The analytics tools above set their own cookies to tell visits apart. The site itself doesn't set any beyond that. Your browser's settings can block them without breaking anything here.

If any of this changes in a way that matters, this page will say so before it happens.
